1 small onion, peeled and chopped fine
4 oz butter unsalted
12 oz cream cheese
16 oz cottage cheese
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons Hungarian paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 tablespoon caraway seeds chopped
1 teaspoon garlic chopped
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon Worchestshire sauce
1 tablespoon parsley chopped
1 tablespoon capers chopped
Process all the ingredients without the cottage cheese in a food processor for
two minutes.
After blending the ingredients to a smooth paste, put them into a medium bowl
and stir in the cottage cheese.
Refrigerate the liptauer for 2 hours (or overnight) before serving.
Serve with toast, bread or crackers.
